What if I can’t make it to packet pick up?
You'll have limited time event morning to pick up your rider pack. Event day registration and rider check-in begins at 7:00A

Where do I park?
Event Parking is FREE at the event. Follow event signage and staff when arriving.

How much is it?
Prices increase as we get closer to the event. Best to sign up now and save!
Are there team discounts?
Yes, we do offer discounted registrations to Teams/Groups. Contact us for details and pricing.
What type of support are available along the course?
VeloFix will be on route to support riders w/ mechanical issues. Also, each Aid Stop is hosted by local bike shops w/ mechanics on hand to support you.
How much traffic will riders encounter?
Not too much! Phil designed the routes to incorporate roads less traveled by LA drivers.
Does this benefit a charity? Which one? How can my charity be involved?
Yes, Chef's Cycle & No Kid Hungry are beneficiaries of the event. Visit CHARITY page for additional details.
Can my spouse/child/friend volunteer?
Of course! Visit the Volunteer page to see all available positions and opportunities.
Will there be gear check if I do not want to ride with my items?
Cookie Fondo Staff can store your gear if you'd like. Parking is also nearby so feel free to stow your swag bag and leftover gear in your vehicle.
Can my spouse join for dinner after?
Yes! Family, friends and fellow cookie lovers are welcome. Check with Registration Staff event weekend to purchase additional Food/Drink Tickets.
What is the age limit?
No age restrictions. Riders under 18 need to have parents permission to ride.
What if it rains?
Rain or shine, we ride!
Will I get to share a cookie with Phil?
Yes! Good luck catching him on the road though. Better find him at the Sponsor Expo or Start line for a photo.
Can I change distances?
Yes! Follow the step-by-step directions at the link below. This feature will be disabled 10 days before event date. After that date, please inform registration staff at the event.
Are there refunds, deferrals, or transfers?
If circumstances change and you're no longer able to join us contact us at email@example.com and we'll get it sorted.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
YES! Helmets are required. Always wear a helmet when you ride, don't be silly.
Are there any bike/equipment requirements? Ie, tandem, trailers, etc.
Yes, Newbury Park Bike Shop will be offering excellent bikes to test out for the entire weekend. Visit RENTAL BIKES page for details.
Is there a time limit? Why?
Yes, each distance carries its own time requirements. You'll want to keep an AVG/MPH of 11MPH.
Can I wear headphones?
We don't recommend it. Enjoy the company of fellow riders and make some new friends.
Can I text and ride?
Bad idea. Don't do it.
If I’m not a professional, can I still ride?
Do you recommend any hotels?
We recommend the Hyatt Regency Westlake Village or the Sheraton Aguora Hills. Visit the STAY page for details and availability.
Will any hotels have a shuttle to the start and finish line?
Yes, We'll be offering rides from Hyatt Regency Westlake Village to the Start/Finish.
What airport should I fly into?
We recommend flying into Burbank Regional Airport (BUR) or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX.) Both are approx 32mi away our host city, Westlake Village.
